Katie Miller blames MAGA moms for midterm losses, admits she didn't vote
Stephen Miller's wife Katie blamed mothers for not voting in the midterms while admitting on CBS that she didn't vote herself. She lives on a fortified military base in Virginia.
MAGA podcaster Katie Miller blamed MAGA moms for Republican losses in the midterm elections, then admitted on CBS News that she did not vote herself, according to The Daily Beast.
“You see that moms are too busy raising their children and taking care of them to go to the polls,” Miller, a mother of four, said in an interview with Norah O’Donnell.
When O’Donnell asked if she had voted, Miller, 35, said she had not. “I did not vote in Virginia because in Virginia when you vote, you dox your own address, and so I prefer my own safety and security over giving that up,” she said.
Miller and her husband, Stephen Miller, one of the architects of Trump’s mass deportation agenda, live on a fortified military base in Northern Virginia.
Earlier on Election Day, Miller posted on X: “Election Day always makes me want to have more kids to cancel out the votes of the America hating leftists. After all, conservatives have more babies.”
Miller frequently posts against working mothers, claiming women cannot find the same fulfillment from a career as from having children. She blamed “candidate quality” for the losses and said Republicans would have performed better if Trump were on the ballot.
What the coverage missed
The coverage focused on the hypocrisy of blaming moms while not voting. The part that got less attention is where she lives.
Miller lives on a fortified military base. She said she did not vote because voting would reveal her address. The address is a military base. The security concern is not a private residence. It is a federal installation.
The excuse is that voting would compromise her safety. The reality is that voter records in Virginia list a name and an address. The address is a military base. The base is not secret.
Miller blamed mothers for not voting. She is a mother. She did not vote. The blame and the behavior are the same. The difference is that the mothers she blamed may not have had an excuse. She did, and it was a military base.
What I think
Katie Miller blamed mothers for the election results. She is a mother. She did not vote. The statement and the behavior contradict each other.
Her excuse was safety. She lives on a military base. Voting would list the base as her address. The base is not a secret. The excuse does not hold.
Miller posted on Election Day that she wanted more children to “cancel out the votes of the America hating leftists.” She did not cancel out any votes. She did not vote. The leftists she worried about voted. She did not.
The hypocrisy is the story. A person who tells other mothers to vote, who posts about canceling out leftist votes, who blames mothers for not showing up, did not show up herself. The excuse is a military base. The result is zero votes from Katie Miller.
Stephen Miller is an architect of the Trump administration’s policies. His wife is a podcaster who advocates for traditional motherhood. She has four children. She did not vote. The family that wants to cancel out leftist votes could not cancel out any.
